Ayotte – A Bad Choice For V.P.

Rumors are circulating that Kelley Ayotte is being seriously considered by the Romney campaign to be Mitt’s choice for vice-president.  Ms Ayotte is a freshman U.S. Senator from New Hampshire who was hand-picked in 2010 by the “political establishment” in Washington (note we said ‘political establishment’ and not ‘the GOP establishment’ — GOP & Dem parties are merely different sides of the same coin).   Before she even announced, Ayotte had over $2 million in pledged PAC money at her disposal – yet won her seat by the tiniest of margins.

To gain conservative GOP support in her first-ever campaign for public office, Ayotte trucked all over the Granite State using heavy-duty conservative rhetoric and a few well-placed right-wing activists to win her election.  Given her ‘anything but conservative’ voting record in the senate, it is highly unlikey that she will get the unconditional support of true conservatives in her next election.

It is a joke to think that the shallow and inexperienced Ayotte is being considered a serious contender for the v.p. slot.  But, then again, she is a ‘darling’ of the political establishment which accounts for much these days in the phony trappings of Washington politics!
